May 14 - 20, 2017 Activity last week was quieter than usual, with the week starting with Mother’s Day, and ending with the Victoria Day long weekend. The Sold/Appointment Index remained steady, and the daily appointment counts all stayed under 400 appointments per day. Mississauga tied for the top spot in our Top 5 Districts, while Brant is also showing tremendous activity. Hamilton Mountain cleaned up otherwise, with 4 districts ranking in our Top 5. May 7 - 13, 2017 Appointments are gradually increasing, with our totals up 6.9% over last week. Our SOLD/APPOINTMENT Index has risen slightly, at 18.17 appointments on average per property sold during the week. Brantford makes an entrance to our Top 5 Districts, while top price points in both Hamilton and Burlington remain steady. Overall, appointments are down 19.4% over May 2016, potentially due to the unpredictable weather. May 2016 saw the highest number of appointments booked ever in a month in the appointment centre, so it remains to be seen if 2017 will meet and exceed those numbers.
April 30 - May 6, 2017 It would appear that the unseasonably cooler tempatures and excessive rainfall may have deterred buyers slightly from venturing out to view properties last week. However, we still saw 138 properties sold, leaving us with a 17.00 Sold/Appointment index. Hamilton Centre and Hamilton Mountain dominated the Top 5 Districts, while price points remained fairly steady in both Hamilton and Burlington.

April 23 - 29, 2017 Sales rose sharply last week, with a 51% increase over last week in total sales. The Sold/Appointment Index dropped dramatically, with only 15.68 appointments on average per sold property. This represents a drop by almost half the number of appointments per sold property at the beginning of the month. Hamilton Mountain and Burlington District 35 tied for #1 in our district ranking, with Hamilton West showing up twice this week. The Sold/Appointment ratio nudged a little higher than last week, settling at 22.5 appointments on average per property sold.
