The area north of Highway 407 includes beautiful natural settings like Rattlesnake point that offer a quick escape from the hustle of the urban environment. Farmland reaches as far as the eye can see – only transforming back to a suburban environment once you’ve arrived in the outskirts of Milton. The area is almost entirely governed by the Niagara Escarpment Commission, effectively minimizing the encroachment of future developments. This ensures any home or hobby farm here will be a long-standing sanctuary of rural peace and quiet. South of the 407, a diverse range of neighbourhoods can be found. Parkland and natural spaces are plentiful, as well as access to retail areas and recreational facilities.
