What's happening in the appointment centre? June 30 - July 6, 2024

This week included the July 1 Canada Day holiday, resulting in a 4.2% decrease in overall appointments. While the start of the week was noticably lighter in appointments, they increased substantially starting July 2. Overall in June, appointments were down 33.24% when compared to June 2023. 

Our Appointment/Sold Index rose to just above where it was 3 weeks ago, sitting at 11.9 appointments on average per property sold. New listing inventory  outpaced sales by a large margin, resulting in more choices for buyers.

Top price ranges in our #1 and #2 spots in both Hamilton and Burlington stayed exactly the same, while Niagara’s top spots inched up slightly. The remainder of our top 5 in Hamilton saw an increase in the lowest range from $450 to $650, while Burlington’s lowest popular pricce point was $550-600k. Niagara saw demand for the $1-2M range drop slightly.
